Tavern Wedding

Weddings are always an interesting event to photograph... You get to see so many different venues and decorating ideas and you always get to meet many, many new people.  When Dawn called me and asked if I was available to photograph her wedding, I was excited to find out that 1.) she was marrying someone who I had met before.  (a friend and hay customer of my husband) and 2.) she would be getting married at the Hanover Tavern.  Being born and raised in Hanover county, I know the history of the place and thought it was awesome to photograph a wedding there!  I was also informed by Dawn, that she did some modeling so it's a win-win situation to me.... Awesome venue for pics and beautiful bride to photo!  It was a super hot day out so we tried not to be outside too incredibly long, but I think we were able to get some fantastic memories caught on film that day.... well I guess we should say caught on memory cards since I don't shoot with film too much while on a job.  I do miss the dark room though, but that's a story for another day.  For now you can check out a few of the photos from Dawn and Neal's special day!!
