The time seems to fly by so quickly now. I remember when I was a kid, it seemed to take forever for summer to get here. It seems summer has come and is getting close to being half way over. I apologize for being behind on posting on my blog. I am trying,... really I am!!! I have done so many things since my last blog post. I have photographed several weddings, some newborns, a dance school and their recital (which was a ton of fun), a local baseball league, some AWESOME families and even taken some maternity photos. I do seem to have workaholic tendencies..... When I really enjoy something, I kinda go overboard! I am also preparing to ride my bicycle across the state of Missouri with my uncle and a couple of others in an effort to raise money for the Massey Cancer Center with the Ride for Jim organization. (Feel free to visit the Ride for Jim website and make a donation
http://www.rideforjim.org/. It's a great organization!!) I am one of those people that has a really hard time saying no when people ask me to do something or help with something..... I guess that's why a lot of my own projects get started and take FOREVER to finish..... So instead of showing another one of my recent session photos, I will let you glimpse into my life a little bit. As many already know, I live on a farm and many in my family are farmers. We have just been going through part of the busiest season in crop farming that we have. In between being photographer, Mom, wife, and all that good stuff..... I find time to help my husband and uncle a little and drive the tractor around the field a little bit. On occasion, I find myself in one of the Stack wagons picking up the bales of straw or hay.... but I would much rather be behind the wheel of a tractor. (There is less that can go wrong in a tractor... :P) We farm hay, but my uncle farms wheat and other crops. For the past month it has been wheat harvesting time and we help get up the straw behind him. Here are a few pics of where I live and what we do....
